It’s Sweet Sixteen for VDL…and VDL’s Pub Night!

The anticipation is over! VDL is proud to launch its legendary Pub Night…in the dark! Come celebrate our “Sweet Sixteen” season with a full Black Light party! Glow sticks galore amidst shiny shirts…and here you thought you’d said goodbye to UV after summer!

  • What: Pub Night in Black Light!
  • Who: Open only to VDL players (19+)
  • When: Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 – 7:30pm till close
  • Where: The Whiskey Bar, 303 Columbia Street, Vancouver (map)
  • How (much): $10/ticket (available from your Execs/League Operators, or online with service charge of $1.25 at https://www.eventbrite.ca/event/8901956993)

Take snazzy goofy drunk pictures to commemorate the party at the photobooth, enjoy delicious mini-cupcakes, and dance to music provided by the local DJ! We’ll have more than $500 in raffle prizes. You can purchase tickets from our sexy exec raffle girls and boys for $5/half wingspan or $10/full wingspan before draw time at 10:30pm.

Grab a teammate and show off your skills at the beer pong tournament between 7:30-10:30! $20 per team of two, a minimum of two games are guaranteed and beer is included for all games. Sign up on a first-come first-serve basis, and there will be fabulous prizes for the winners!

On top of the usual Pub Night riotous ruckus, you can expect glow stick bracelets and necklaces and lots more throughout the night! Only 400 tickets available, so get yours soon! Don’t drink and drive! Here’s some transit information for those of you planning to come in by bus/skytrain:

  • The closest bus stops are serviced by routes 022, 160, 020, 003, 019 (4 minutes walking distance)
  • The closest SkyTrain station is Waterfront Station (10 minutes walking distance)
