S13 Thursday Division Playoff Recap

Hello Dodgeballers one and all!

Sunday May 13th, played host to the VDL Thursday Division Playoffs! 48 teams entered David Thompson prepared for epic showdowns, mind blowing catches and game changing cross-court hits. Many would have to settle for the delicious offerings of Num Num and the Fruit Dealers but all would leave satisfied! But before we could get to the action, we had some awards to hand out to our teams!

Best Dressed: Air Chompers

 

Best Cheer: Team Haggard

Spirit Champions: We Lick Plates

Thanks to the IDA for providing the winning teams with $100 towards the JDRF Dodgeball Open this summer!  $50 gift certificates for Best Dressed and Best Cheer, and $100 for the Spirit Champions to White Spot!

 

O Canada was sung by Jay Vu of Sink or Swim! Then absolute carnage took hold! Players struggling and competing for the championship of their tier while onlookers gasped and were dazzled by the action in front of them. At the end of the day, six teams emerged victorious as everyone else applauded their efforts!
