S7 – Tournament of Champions [see original post]
Have you ever wondered who the best team in VDL actually is? Don’t you wish you could know if Monday’s champ could beat Thursday’s champ? Finally, we are about to find out who the best truly is. The Vancouver Dodgeball League is proud to present its first ever Tournament of Champions!
What it is: The Tournament of Champions is a tournament featuring each division’s top four teams from the playoffs, including the top four team from the Coquitlam Dodgeball League. The teams that qualified would have received an email from VDL indicating that they have qualified for the tournament. If a team is unable to attend, the next highest seeded team will take their place.
When: May 30, 2009
Time: 11am – 4pm

VDL & Rollerderby Update [see original post]
Thanks to all that came out to the El Luchadore’s special performance at the Terminal City Roller Girl’s last Roller Derby event on April 11th, 2009.
It was a grand success!
Intermission 1
The El Luchadores took on the VDL Superheroes in the 1st intermission act. The series was tied up going into Game 5, and ended with a spectacular showdown with El Luchadores coming out with a big win.
S7 – Monday Tuesday Recap [see original post]
On May 9th and May 10th, the Vancouver Dodgeball League wrapped up its Tuesday and Monday Division Championships, respectively. If you were not in attendence, then you missed out on some amazing dodgeball action as each team played hard to reach the finals. Even with the intense competition, VDL is proud to say that all its players displayed the highest level of sportsmanship and spirit. [Read more]
