T-shirt contest!!! YAY!
VDL is proud to announce it’s 2nd t-shirt design contest!!!
THE CHALLENGE
Have an eye for design? Think you have what it takes to create the new VDL t-shirt?
It’s Project Runway VDL-style…here’s your chance to show the VDL community what you’ve got!
THE DETAILS
Submit your design entry in jpeg format to supply (at) vdldodgeball.ca no later than Friday, April 10th at 11:59p.m.
We’ll post all the entries on our site so they can be put under the scrutiny of your peers…
Everyone votes online for their favourite submission and the winner will be announced at Extravaganza and Pub Night on Saturday, April 25th!
THE PRIZE
The creator of the winning design will win $100 cash and a free t-shirt! Not to mention having their design rocked by all of our ridiculously good-looking VDL players and the glory of being the winner of VDL’s 2009 T-shirt Design Contest!
Keep an ear out on our league nights for more details from your favourite exec, and get designing!

Is this meant to be a fun shirt, an official shirt, one for people to buy, or what? Also, any requirements for the design, like VDL logo, name, etc?

This shirt will be for people to buy and can be fun (like our 3-D shirt – the winner of our last contest) or fun and official (like our originals) :}
It’ll be up to the VDL community to decide on a winner!

Nick,
No, you don’t necessarily need to includ the VDL name or logo on your design (although it would be great if you could sneak it in there!) — if you’ve seen our last winning shirt (the 3-D shirt), VDL isn’t included in the main design, but we added the VDL logo to the sleeve of the shirt. Go wild!
Is there a place to download the VDL logo in a hi-res or vector format?

We’re keeping the VDL logo out of the contest – we’ll be adding it to the shirt similar to what Sheryl mentioned (above). Sorry we’re unable to make it available for download!
