As you have likely heard, on January 12th, 2010 the small island nation of Haiti suffered a massive earthquake that registered 7.3 on the Richter Scale. The earthquake has left the country’s capital, Port-Au-Prince, in tatters. 200,000 are already confirmed dead with the number expecting to rise with each new day.

Relief agencies and countries throughout the world have pulled together to provide much needed aid to the people of Haiti. Although these relief efforts may not have a direct link to dodgeball, they fall in line with VDL’s mandate to promote spirit, service, and community. With our small contribution we believe we are joining the global community in supporting this already impoverished nation.

The Canadian Government will match each donation made by individual Canadians. If you have the means, we urge you to donate to this very worthy cause. If you have already contributed to this cause in any way, we applaud you.
