Just in time for the holidays, a handful of VDL’s exec family dropped by the Powell Street Getaway, run by the Lookout Society, on Dec. 19 to help with preparations for their Christmas meal to feed the low-income population in the Downtown East Side. They made trays and trays of peanut butter cookies, peeled and chopped carrots and potatoes, and handed out snacks to the homeless people who stopped by.
