VDL hosts dodgeball four nights a week, using International Dodgeball Association (IDA) rules. These fun, social dodgeball divisions are open to all skill levels! Teams will play one exhibition week, 10 weeks of the regular season, and one day of playoffs. In the spirit of the game, we also recognize teams with the “Most Creative Team Photo”, “Best Dressed” and “Hootie the Spirit Owl” awards.
Divisions:
Co-ed Divisions
A division of heart-pounding throws and dodges! Teams must have a minimum of two female-identifying players on the court!
Women’s Division
A division for women run by women! Join the fun and cheer each other on!
Queer Division
A draft-style league for members of the queer community! Forge new friendships while diving into competitive dodgeball! This division plays with the same rules but uses 7″ foam balls.

*When you are hit, do not surrender the ball(s) in your hand. You can roll them to your teammates before walking off the court
