Volunteers are the heart of the Vancouver Dodgeball League. Our tight-knit family consists of 60+ enthusiastic volunteers who share a passion for dodgeball and want to give back to the community, and we want you to join us! In return, you will have the opportunity to develop your personal and professional development skills, build life-long friendships and of course, play dodgeball for free!
Programs Director
The programs department is responsible for organizing and facilitating dodgeball events outside of the regular league nights. This includes running tournaments for external organizations like the Vancouver Canucks, providing drop ins for new and existing players to build their love for dodgeball, and running tournaments for VDL, such as the annual Tournament Of Champions. As the Programs Director, you and your team will be working to provide events like this for our community.
Supply Director
The supply department is the backbone of VDL. As the Supply Director, you will be responsible for the inventory and logistics needed to support VDL in running the league and its events. The responsibilities of the Supply Director include planning equipment swaps during the season, monitoring inventory (balls, shirts, tape, ice packs, etc.), and coordinating transportation of supplies to playoffs and tournaments. You and your team will be there to support the other departments with all their supply needs.
