Community Garden Day

Garden day was a success! Despite the limited spots, we made a large impact through a meaningful experience! We quadrupled Farmers on 57th’s people-power for the day and turned over 3 rows of cover crops in preparing the seed beds for planting. Our players had a chance to ask any questions related to cultivating and growing their own food, as well as experience part of the process that transforms a plain grass field into a community-integrated garden.
